I visited a friend in Montreal and he took me here. The food was so delicious and also the service was impeccable.I felt home again.I recommend it to anybody visiting montreal.

Update :Service was nice but they didn’t give me the option to pay cash like other clients$30 for a couple of sardines and 9alb louz no drink , in Jean talon is expensive, I could have had more food in DT with that amount1st visit : Very nice service ! Amazing Algerian food.We took ( grilled sardine, sardine mama)9alb louz is out of this world

This place used to be Allo Sardina. When I went there I was surprised that it's a different restaurant now. I decided to give them a chance and I wasn't disappointed at all. The beans soup and Chorba Frik were excellent. The liver and meat skwers were delicious, the service was good all that with a fair price.

I went there after a very good friend recommended it for fish and chips..Ok so I decided to go with my wife for lunch…a bit far from where I live in the west end but honestly a trip well worth the time. My wife ordered the fish & chips and I ordered the lamb chops.. What we got was incredible. The fish & chips were excellent, so my wife told me and plentiful. The batter was light & crispy, my lamb chops were excellently broiled and plentiful & delicious, probably the best I’ve eaten anywhere. I could not believe the bill….Inexpensive…..You’ve gotta eat here
